I am putting you all on hold for a few days. My daughter Pat and I are going to drive up to Garderville, Nevada for a visit with son Michael. This picture is a view of what Mike sees out of his front door every morning ---- High desert country. We are praying for good weather. Up in them thar hills you can never be sure when the snow will fall and the mountain tops will be covered in a blanket of white.
It takes eight to ten hours to get there from Brookings. It depends on how many stops we make. We have our favorite places and I will have my camera with me so you know I will stop to take pictures to share. I am off to pack.
